Lindsay Talley is a documentary photographer and writer currently based in Lisbon, Portugal. Her work examines the food system with specific focus on food sovereignty, access, and production; sustainability in farming and what that really means both financially and in relation to the environment and well-being of farmers; and food culture.
Lindsay graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2004 with a BFA in Photography. Since 2005, she has worked as a producer and location scout in the editorial and commercial photo industry on just about every type of photo shoot in four different countries and several different US states. As a photographer, she has translated these production skills to create work throughout Mexico, Europe, the Caribbean, and the US including Puerto Rico. She is extremely skilled in handling all logistics for a shoot, making her a self-sufficient photographer that can get any assignment accomplished.
